We monitored temperatures using RivaTuner.

Sapphire RADEON HD 4730 512MB

Even cut down, RV770 operating at 750 MHz still requires a sterling cooler from the 4870 cards, while Sapphire simplified its cooling system and installed the cooler from the 4850. As a result, the card heats to 82°C. It's not fatal, but it's still too much for such a 100-dollar cutoff.

But don't forget that coolers do not come for free either, and it's not expedient to install an expensive cooling system here.
