The graphics card boasts an excellent Gigabyte cooling system. It consists of three heatsinks connected with broad heatpipes pressed into the base right against the GPU. They disperse the heat to the peripheral plates; one plate is pressed against the power transistors. Two memory chips on the back are surprisingly left uncooled.

The highest speed the fan achieves is 1900 rpm. Despite the increase, the cooling system is still almost noiseless overall.

Temperature monitoring results

We measured temperatures using the EVGA PrecisionX utility.

After a 6-hour non-stop testing, the temperature kept under 80°C—a good result for a graphics adapter of this class.
