The card has two 6-pin supplementary power connectors.

Cooling
AMD Radeon HD 6790 |
The cooling system is similar to that of Radeon HD 6850. Despite the copper baseplate, the heatsink is rather compact. The cooler is quiet, so the core temperature shouldn't be high. |

Traditionally, we monitored temperatures using EVGA Precision (based on RivaTuner).
Such a massive cooler did well, and the core temperature only reached 66°C after 8 hours of non-stop operation.
