Coolers
Coolers on four cards out of five are very similar: two main heatsinks interconnected by heatpipes, two slow and quiet fans, and a long rectangular power circuitry heatsink. Memory chips are not cooled, which is strange, given cards' overall dimensions. Speaking of those, these four cards occupy three expansion slots due to many output connectors and hot air exhaust.

The idea is the same, but the card is slimmer, occupying 'just' two expansion slots.
Temperature monitoring results
We measured temperatures using the MSI Afterburner utility.

All coolers are efficient enough, so even the 'fire-breathing' ENGTX580 DCII/2DIS/1536MD5 isn't as hot after the standard 6 hours of continuous operation.
