PQI Air Drive

The PQI Air Drive comes in a blister pack and comes with only a brief user's guide.

The PQI Air Drive has no built-in storage space. Essentially, it's an advanced card reader that comes with a 16GB/32GB SDHC card.

Design

The PQI Air Drive is the smallest device in our review: about the size of a credit card and about as thick as a new iPod Touch. The bronzed panels are made of metal for higher durability.

The card reader connects to the computer via a convenient USB 2.0 pull-out cable.

On the top are the power switch, reset pinhole, and battery and Wi-Fi indicators. On the bottom is an SD slot.

The PQI Air Drive is a device of prominent usability. You can upgrade it with a more capacious memory card. And you don't have to plug the entire device to transfer files if you already have another card reader connected to the computer. If you're a photographer, you get an extra bonus, too: you can take the SD card from your camera and insert it directly into the PQI Air Drive to watch photos on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

The PQI Air Drive with a 32GB SDHC card is available starting from $85.
