Corsair is popular among PC enthusiasts, in particular, because of its high-performance memory modules. Power supplies of this company are somewhat less known. To fill this gap, we are going to review a number of its PSUs of various series. The first product that we have obtained is Corsair HX620W. The company positions the HX series as advanced high-performance power supplies for PC performance enthusiasts.

The PSU is shipped in the retail package, a matte-imprinted carton.

The imprint is of high quality. The product itself is protected from external action by polyurethane cushions and put into a cellophane bag.

Bundle:

  • European power cable
  • A set of PCI-E and peripheral power cables in a nylon bag
  • 4 mounting screws
  • Cable organizer and 10 nylon buckles
  • User's manual in 7 languages
  • Corsair enclosure sticker

The PSU has a matte black metallic enclosure and features a 120mm cooling fan on the side and air output holes on the back.

The backside also features power interface and switch.

The front side offers PCI-E and peripheral power interfaces. In general, the device is of high quality.
