Conclusions
Lion Square and Triton 85 successfully supplement the High-End series of ASUS coolers, offering an interesting combination of functionality and usability. Lion Square plays the first role in this duo -- it manages to come up with an attractive balance of thermal efficiency and noise ergonomics in nearly all modes, including the noiseless, which usually has the hardest requirements to cooler technical quality. Triton 85 also fares well, demonstrating acceptable thermal efficiency in combination with acceptable noise results. If we don't pay attention to high retail prices (price tags of 60-70 USD makes Lion Square and Triton 85 nearly the most expensive coolers in our market), both products can be recommended for efficient and ergonomic cooling of top quad-core Intel LGA775 and AMD Socket AM2 processors.
Lion Square gets our Original Design award for original solutions used in its heat sink.
