This is a quite old drive, it was released almost a year ago. We received
it in the OEM package. The set of accessories is not scanty: user manual,
interface cables and screws, CD with Roxio's software and a software DVD
player. The design of the drive is typical of LG: it has buttons for CD
playback control. Its dimensions are shorter by 1 cm than the standard
ones.

The drive provides just minimal possibilities to reduce speed in operation
with CDs.
Nero InfoTool
This is a standard support of reading of almost all existent formats
of optical media. In other respects, everything corresponds to the specs.
The programs do not agree in C2 errors detention support.
Nero - Burning Rom
The drives supports such a useful function as buffer underrun protection.
Besides, it's able to overburn discs. However, the write simulation mode
is not supported.
The drive is RPC-2 from the very beginning and it's impossible to turn
it into RPC-1. But there is a utility which can set the zone counter to
zero.
