Driver-forced AA plus dithered shadows result in numerous rendering artefacts.
How to fix
Developers officially state that AA can't be combined with dithered shadows. Still the game, for some reason, allows to enable those simultaneously (enable soft shadows, apply changes, go back to settings and enable AA).
This bug shows up when: a) AA is forced by drivers; b) AA is set of OFF ingame; and c) soft shadows are enabled ingame. It's interesting that if you driver-force AA and set it to 2x or 4x ingame, the bug won't show up. And you'll have precisely what developers claim to be impossible - forced AA along with soft shadows.
It seems neither NVIDIA, nor ATI, nor Monolith are going to fix that bug. Thus, we consider it outdated and move into archive. You should remember about this peculiarity and avoid driver-forcing AA in this game.
