By the end of the month the product costs $100 on average, supports DirectX 9.0. As you can see, it's just an image product to raise 9550 popularity. It's actually a slightly changed RADEON 9600 PRO sold for the relatively low price.
AGP x8/x4, 128MB DDR SDRAM in 8 EtronTech (BGA) chips. 3.3ns indicate 300 (600) MHz clock, but the memory operates at 250 (500) MHz. 128 bit bus. Note that clock rates are higher than those of RADEON 9550 (250/200 (400) MHz).
On October 10, 2004 the latest drivers from ATI were 6.483 (CATALYST 4.10 WHQL, Release), 6.490 (CATALYST beta) for Windows XP.
