Theoretical and analytical videocard reviews, containing functional analysis of ATI graphics cards
By the end of the month the product costs $170-180, supports Directx 9.0c (shaders 2.0b).
We run our first tests of this novelty late in September 2004. It's designed for middle-end segment and now has only PCI-E interface.
This $150-170 product is very successful and outperforms not only previous-generation Middle-End, but even some High-End cards. Competes with GeForce 6600 (6600LE).
PCI-E x16. 128MB GDDR3 SDRAM in 4 Samsung chips.
On April 10, 2004 the latest driver from ATI is 6.525 (CATALYST 4.12) for Windows xP.
