This GPU is presented ASUS GeForce 7600GS 512MB GDDR2 Silent (550/950 MHz) PCI-Express.

By the end of the month the product costs about $140-170, supports DirectX 9.0c (SM3.0).
This novelty, which we tested for the first time early in April 2006, is meant for the middle-end ($130-150).
The card is rather successful and easily outperforms higher-end rivals of the previous generation in terms of performance and features.

On February 15, 2006 the latest drivers from NVIDIA were 97.92 WHQL release (for 8800 series), 93.81 beta (for other series) for Windows XP.
