This chip is presented by NVIDIA GeForceFX, 128MB, AGP reference card.




Features:

  • NVIDIA NV30 GPU, 400MHz clock speed;
  • 128MB DDR II SGRAM in 8 Samsung K426323AE-GC1K BGA chips. 550 (1100) MHz max. clock speed indicating 1.8ns access time; the default memory clock speed for 3D mode is 500 (1000) MHz, for 2D mode - 300 (600) MHz; 128-bit bus;
  • Peak fill rate in the multitexturing mode without optimizations is 2000 megapixels/sec and 4000 megatexels/sec.
  • GeForceFX GPU clock - 400MHz, memory clock - 400 (800) MHz. This card is a slower variant of GeForceFX Ultra.

By the end of the month the product belongs to the $300 range; supports DirectX 9.0; closest rivals: RADEON 9700 Pro, RADEON 9700.

On the 10th of February 2003 the latest drivers from NVIDIA are 42.30, 42.51, 42.63, 42.68, 42.70, 42.81, 42.82, 42.86 and 42.90 for Windows XP.
