This GPU is presented by Gigabyte RADEON X700 PRO 256MB GDDR3 (425/860 MHz) PCI-Express card.
Features:
- ATI RADEON X700 XT(!) GPU, 425 MHz clock rate (8 pixel and 6 vertex pipelines);
- Samsung memory chips. 2.0 ns indicate 500 (1000) MHz, but the memory operates at 430 (860) MHz. 128-bit bus;
- Peak fill rate in the multitexturing mode is 3400 megapixels/sec and 3400 megatexels/sec.

By the end of the month the product costs $160-180, supports DirectX 9.0c (shaders 2.0b).
This novelty was first tested in September 2004. It's designed for middle-end segment and now has only PCI-E interface.
This $170 product is rather successful. It outperforms High-End cards of the previous generation. Competes with GeForce 6600. With the release of X800GT its price will decrease to $120.
