CeBIT 2002: Day 5

Like any display this CEBIT is, first of all, a shaw where the companies make every attempt to attract customers. What a great number of tricks they use! For example, a stand demonstrating solutions of internet site filtering displayed photos of nude girls sometimes crossing them out with a red line. Well, the guys certainly looked at the girls ignoring all lines. At the SunPoint's stand several girls wearing not much advertised... er... don't remember :). But these are extreme cases, and below you can take a look at interesting advertisement solutions and decorations. Although the number of visitors were less than usual, and the display lasted one day longer it was a success.

Display or shaw?

A lot of companies showed their closeness to Hi-Tech by demonstrating racers or just cards.

Sagem is proud of helping the medical service with motorcycles with a buddy seat.

There were also cars-simulators. Most of all I liked the following one where, sitting behind the wheel, you drive the car along a road displayed on the screen in front; a road can be chosen to your liking, for example, in Monaco. Take a look at the wheels - they are sensors.

Now a little on decoration of the stands. Thus, Sony made a wall of photos of the visitors.

By the way, Sony found an interesting way to advertise its new notebook with a built-in camera and supporting Bluetooth. There was a girl walking with the notebook attached to a stick; she shot visitors and the photos were then sent by e-mail from that notebook. She also gave a number with which you then could get your photo at the Sony's site.

LG amazed us with a fancy composition made of phones on pedicels.

Inside this room it was possible to listen to an acoustic system; the sound was really better than outside.

The subject of nature was very popular for decoration. Some stands used water still and flowing, some brought bush of ferns.
