CeBIT 2002: Day 3 / Part 2

Some companies, knowing that their products are far not extraordinary, tried to amaze with volumes.

Some tried to invent just new structures of units. For example, one of the stands showed a revolutionary technology without a single explanation. What I could see was a case with its side panels opening and closing with the help of small motors. Although it was forbidden to shoot it, I did it because it 's always intriguing going into a mystery.

Here are some other untypical cases; their internal structure is shown behind.

There were cases with additional functionality. For example, in these cases bays are hidden behind a mirror.

Some tried to refresh cases by changing their colors:

The display shows that aluminum cases become quite popular.

Cooling system as a hi-tech product

While cases should be aesthetically beautiful, fans and heatsinks are always hidden inside. That is why it makes no sense to show many photos as they look very similar to each other.

Such cooling systems are not simple in installation but they take off heat from processors or other warming-up components covered with heatsinks much better.
