Steam for Linux Launched
Today Valve announced the release of its Steam for Linux client. In celebration of the release, over 50 Linux titles are now 50-75% off until Thursday, February 21st.
Thanks to a special feature like SteamPlay, you can play all the games which you already have on Windows or Mac iOS, without purchasing them again for Linux. More than 100 games now are available for Linux client, among them you can find Counter-Strike: Source, Serious Sam 3: BFE, Tomb Raider, etc.
In addition to games, the Steam for Linux client includes Big Picture, the new mode of Steam designed for use with a TV and game controller. The Steam client is now available to download for free from the Ubuntu Software Center.
