Hammacher Schlemmer to Ship Audio Cassette to iPod Converter
Hammacher Schlemmer is getting ready to ship an interesting, simple, mobile solution for audio cassette owners. At $79.95, The novelty converts audio cassette contents into MP3 files and stores those files directly on your iPhone or iPod touch. The device works with most iPhones and iPod touch players as well as normal or chrome audio cassettes.
To convert to MP3, you just insert a cassette, dock an iPhone or iPod touch, and start playback. You can also output cassette contents to headphones or even a stereo system. Moreover, the included software allows you to convert on a PC running Windows XP/Vista/7 or a Mac.
