Genius Rolls Out Ring Mouse In North America
Today, Genius released its Ring Mouse in North America. This original input device is worn as a ring on a finger so your thumb controls all the functions. This device should give you more freedom during presentations, web browsing, picture and video viewing and such.
Genius Ring Mouse uses patented touch-control technology for scrolling, and it has movement sensitivity up to 1000 dpi. Utilizing 2.4GHz wireless frequency, Ring Mouse can be controlled from as far as 10 meters away using the minute Pico USB receiver that plugs into USB port.
Powered by a rechargeable lithium battery, the mouse comes with a portable USB battery charger as well as a hard-shell travel case.
ioMedia software is included to provide control features like play/pause, fast forward/rewind, etc. The ioMedia functions can be used in the following applications: Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player, Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, and Adobe Reader.
