Scythe Susanoo CPU cooler: 4 fans, 12 heatpipes, 1.5 kg
The European branch of Scythe posted a press release dedicated to Scythe Susanoo, the monster cooler you can see on the photos.
Susanoo (which is the name of the Japanese god of the sea and storms) is much more than you expect from a typical CPU cooler.
It has 12 heatpipes.
Four 100-mm Slip Stream fans (500-2000 rpm, up to 37.69 dBA noise).
Connected to the heatpipes are three heatsinks.
As you can see below, the cooler is designed to provide access to memory modules and expansion cards. That's how it looks on a motherboard.
Sized 210 x 210 x 160 mm, the cooler weighs 1565 g.
Susanoo supports Intel LGA 775, 1155, 1156, 1366 and AMD AM2, AM2+, AM3 processors. The "quad-fan twelve-heatpiper" costs about 90 EUR.
