Synology Launches DiskStation DS411+II NAS Server
Synology launched DiskStation DS411+II, a 4-bay NAS server dedicated to data sharing and backup. It delivers 110.73 MB/s reading and 105.48MB/s writing speeds on average in RAID 5 configurations in Windows environments.
The DS411+II consumes 60W in operation and 19.8W in hibernation. Its multiple scheduled power on/off, wake on LAN/WAN, and hard drive hibernation features further reduce energy expenses and extend the hard drives' life cycles.
The 4-bay DS411+II supports 3TB hard drives, accommodating a maximum of 12TB and providing a large capacity for data storage. Running on a 1.8GHz dual-core processor and 1GB DDR2 RAM, the DS411+II is equipped with 1 Gigabit LAN port, 2 USB 2.0 ports and 1 eSATA port.
The DS411+II is powered by DiskStation Manager 3.1 (DSM 3.1), the operating system of every Synology DiskStation.
The new NAS server is backed by Synology's 2-year limited warranty.
