TUL Adds Custom Cooling to HD6850
TUL added its own cooling solution to the HD6850 series and released PowerColor PCS+ HD6850. The novelty is factory-overclocked, it has 820/1100 MHz core/memory clock rates (vs. the standard 775/1000 MHz).
Other features include 1GB of GDDR5 memory, 256-bit bus, support for Eyefinity, DirectX 11, CrossFireX. Available interfaces include DL-DVI/SL-DVI, HDMI, Display Port.
The custom cooler has a 90mm fan and 3 heatpipes, as well as the copper base that covers the GPU completely. Compared with the reference design, the solution is claimed to reduce temperature by another 15%.
As for the bundle, PCS+ HD6850 (P/N: AX6850 1GBD5-PPDHG) comes with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 among everything else.
