Nikon D3x Debut Expected on December 1
According to certain information, we're on the threshold of the release of Nikon's new full-frame DSLR. According to one of the sources, there even was a product page mockup at the official website, but later it was removed.
Camera images shared the same fate, but, fortunately, some people managed to copy them and now we can get the first impression of the long-anticipated Nikon D3x.
One of the sources made a compilation of all the Nikon D3x rumors.
It all started with the D3 firmware upgrade released in April. In it, careful observers found the first proof of the upcoming release. Later there appeared information that Nikon scheduled a few events in different parts of the world to December 1. A few weeks ago, the Nikon D3_2 section appeared at the Nikon Germany website, but was removed soon after. A bit of other information leaked from Nikon testers. A number of companies, including Delkin, Sea&Sea, SanDisk and HoodCap, expanded offerings with D3x accessories. Nikon D3 prices have been significantly cut recently, down to $4200. There appeared information that retail stores wouldn't accept any more D3 orders. Representatives of certain retail store networks unofficially confirmed that the new camera would go on sale on December 1.
This concludes the list of 'clues'. Let's wait until Monday.
