GIGABYTE M912V: Feature-Rich For 700 USD
GIGABYTE decided not to chase Eee PC 701 trying to release the cheapest compact notebook (netbook). Instead, it focused on adding to the novelty as many features as possible. The new M912V stands out among similar products by being a Tablet PC as well.
M912V utilizes a LED-lit display, 8.9 inches in diagonal at 1280x768 resolution. It also features Intel Atom CPU at 1.6 GHz, 1GB DDR2, 160GB SATA HDD, 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, 1.3-Mp webcam. Interfaces include VGA, ExpressCard, 3 x USB, HSDPA.
The notebook works with Microsoft Vista Home. M912V is supposed to be sold for 700 USD, thus occupying a higher price category comparing to ASUS Eee PC 9xx or MSI Wind.
