Corsair Announces High-Performance Mac Memory Upgrade Modules
Corsair announced its first high-performance memory modules made especially for the new MacBook and MacBook Pro laptop computers.
Corsair's Mac Memory features special Serial Presence Detect (SPD) profile characteristics, so that Macs can self-configure for optimal performance for critical applications.
Corsair Mac Memory has been benchmark tested on:
- Adobe Photoshop: Import Video
- Adobe Photoshop: Photo Compression
- XBench: Memory Test
- VMware Fusion: Vista tests
- Apple BootCamp: Vista tests
According to the press release, testing has demonstrated that as much as a 28% overall system performance improvement is achieved with the new Corsair low latency memory modules versus standard Mac upgrade memory.
