Samsung Introduces SyncMaster 225UW Monitor Optimized for MS Office Communicator 2007
Samsung Electronics America announced that it has released its new SyncMaster 225UW widescreen LCD monitor, which supports Microsoft Office Communicator 2007. The widescreen monitor, which features a high-gloss shiny black bezel and a square-based stand, also includes a set of touch-sensitive buttons.
The monitor is equipped with a built-in 2.0M pixel high-resolution webcam, dual-array microphone and speakers. It supports wideband audio that covers more of the natural voice spectrum than traditional telephony, resulting in clearer voice conversations.
The SyncMaster 225UW features 1680x1050 resolution 16:10 wide aspect ratio, 5 ms GTG response time, 700:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness, 160/160 viewing angle. The monitor also incorporates a 2-port USB hub and DVI-D & analog input.
The novelty is backed by a three-year limited warranty on labor and parts, including the backlight and is currently available in the US for an MSRP of $449.99.
