Compro Technology today presented VideoMate U2700, a hybrid USB 2.0 DVB-T and analog TV tuner box, which brings digital terrestrial TV and universal analog TV broadcasts to your desktop or laptop PC.

Accompanied by Compro's Picture Purifying Technology, VideoMate U2700 provides clear 1080i HDTV picture of free-to-air digital terrestrial and worldwide analog TV services directly to your PC without opening the system case for installation.

With Compro's ComproDTV 3 software, you can watch digital/ analog TV shows, set flexible and S3/S4 mode power up scheduled recording, play recorded files, timeshift live TV, channel surf, capture still frames, and record TV programs straight to DVD for more convenience and to save time. It also supports Transport Stream recording and playing back in digital TV, and lets you record all the programs in the same stream, then you can watch each of them when you are free. You can also customize the order of channels and set my favorite channel list for more easy use. Video Desktop to setup the live TV screen in wallpaper mode can let you use other applications simultaneously. For better TV watching and recording quality, it allows you to customize color settings, TV system and TV stereo selection in each TV channel; and the all-new Picture in/out Picture not only allows you to watch live TV and playback a video file at the same time, but also lets you open up to 1 main and 3 sub live digital channel windows at once.
