Transcend Releases 1GB DDR2-800 SO-DIMM, 4GB IDE Flash Modules
Transcend Information announced 1GB DDR2-800 Non-ECC Unbuffered SO-DIMM memory modules (P/N: TS128MSQ64V8J) for use in high-performance notebooks.
The new memory modules are engineered using 16 pcs of 64Mx8 original brand-name DDR2 FBGA chips and eight-layer PCBs. In addition, DDR2 memory chips incorporate On-Die Termination (ODT) to minimize signal reflections at higher speeds.
A day earlier Transcend released the new 4GB 44-pin IFM (IDE Flash Module) designed for certain types of computing devices, or specialist data devices.
Transcendís IDE Flash Memory Module is sized 52.0mm x 29.5mm x 6.9mm (plastic case included in package), and has a strong data retention ability. Transcendís IFM supports built-in ECC (Error Code Correcting) function, Auto Sleep and Power Down modes. Other features include full compatibility with devices and operating systems that support the IDE standard (pitch = 2 mm); LED status indication.
