Transcend Rolls Out Three Novelties
The first one is 40-pin IFM (IDE Flash Module) which capacity has reached 4GB. Such memory is used by certain types of computing devices or specialist data devices for data transfers and storage.
Transcend’s 4GB IDE Flash Memory Module is small, just 61.0mm x 26.9mm x 7.1mm (plastic case included in package), and has a strong data retention ability. The 40-pin IDE Flash Memory Modules are ideal for use in harsh environments where PCs, Set-Top Boxes, and other industrial machines are used. Transcend’s IFM supports built-in ECC (Error Code Correction) function, Auto Sleep and Power Down modes.
The second is the external 120GB StoreJet 2.5" USB 2.0 hard drive, Titanic model.
The bundled software includes PC Lock, use it as a key to lock your computer; Security, compress and password-protect saved files using AEB encryption; My Documents; Mobile IE Favorites; Mobile Outlook Express; and Address Book Editor.
Finally, the third is 1GB microSD memory card that has data transfer speeds of up to 10MB/sec, and features only half the size of a mobile phone SIM card.
