Fujitsu Siemens Unveils Pocket LOOX N100 Series
Fujitsu Siemens Computers unveiled a new series of light-weight personal navigation assistant (PNA) - Pocket LOOX N100 and N110. Featuring NAVIGON’s MobileNavigator|6, and weighing in at just 110 grams, the Pocket LOOX N100 Series is the lightest and smallest PNA on the market. With an integrated MP3 player, it’s also a portable sound machine. The sleek design with integrated antenna and interchangeable colored front covers make the device adaptable to personal style. The Pocket LOOX N100 Series will hit the shelves at electronics stores starting in August for prices starting at ˆ299 (incl. VAT).

The latest version of NAVIGON MobileNavigator|6 features an improved intuitive interface together along with detailed maps, which cover 37 European countries on a DVD supplied with the device. With its integrated high-performance GPS module SiRFstar III, the Pocket LOOX N100 Series does not need to be fixed to the windshield for in-car use, while the optional Traffic Message Channel (or TMC) module keeps the driver away from traffic jams.
Besides a 300MHz processor, The N100 features 64MB of RAM (N110 also features 2GB ROM), colour 2.8-inch 240x320 TFT touchscreen, a MiniSD slot (up to 1GB card included with N100). Interfaces include 1 x speaker, 1 x headphone (3.5 mm) 4-pin, Mini USB 1.1.
