CeBIT 2006: Elitegroup Computer Systems
And now let's visit the booth of Elitegroup Computer Systems that hosts a lot of interesting products, including ones for which ECS is not well-known.
For example, this is a server motherboard for Intel Xeon processors - T1066-DX.
Elitegroup has long been among leaders in Mini-ITX and barebone solutions. This time it also offers a wide number of products based on Intel, VIA, SiS core logic.
The first motherboard, PMI8M, is designed for Intel Pentium M and Celeron M processors, has Intel Extreme Graphics 2 core (8-64MB), supports up to 4 x PATA drives.
Then there's NXS7M on SiS741GX chipset for Socket 462 (AMD Athlon, Duron, MP, XP) CPUs and 333MHz FSB. The board supports up to 1GB of DDR333, 4 x PATA drives. It also has integrated graphics, Gigabit Ethernet, 6-channel ALC655 codec.
Another Elitegroup Mini-ITX motherboard, C3VCM6, bases on VIA CLE 266CE and is designed for VIA C3 processors. This board works with DDR266, PATA hard drives, has 100/10Mbps LAN, ALC655 codec, and integrated graphics.
On the next photo you can see the C3VCM (VIA CN700) motherboard for VIA C7 ULV processors. The board itself is the same as the previous.
ATI RD580 supporting 2 x PCI Express x16 interfaces was used in the KA3 MVP board aimed at enthusiasts. It supports AMD Athlon 64FX, Athlon 64 X2 and Athlon64, has 6 x SATA 3Gbps (RAID 0, 1, 0+1, JBOD), 2 x Gigabit Ethernet, High Definition Audio. Max. memory capacity is 4GB.
Of course, Elitegroup introduced a number of budget solutions. These include P4M890-Ì and P29-G (under the PCCHIPS brand), both on VIA P4M890 for Intel's Socket 775 CPUs:

Besides traditional products, the company showcased a wide gamma of NVIDIA-based graphics solutions. However only the budget products featured the original design, novelties being copied from reference.
ECS also offers Intel Viiv solutions. Not only as motherboards (integrated 945G-M3), but also as ready PCs.
And the last photo might surprise many of you, we believe. It turns out Elitegroup makes 19" monitors as well. The production facilities are located in Hungary.
