And now a tour around the booth of Gigabyte. On the first photo you can see a machine for extreme environments. It's based on Celeron M and is dust- and waterproof. Features: And here's a motherboard on Intel G965/ICH8-DH chipset for Viiv platform. GA8IBGNBX-RH:
And another Viiv board: GA8I945GTMFY-RH:
The next exhibit might look like a Quad SLI system, but it's not so. Four PCI-E cards work as x8 each. The x16 mode is available for 2 of them only. This motherboard was developed for connecting a large number of monitors (up to 10 to be exact). And this is an AM2 motherboard on nForce 570 SLI chipset: GA-MXE-S4:
GA-M51-GM-S2 (a budget AM2 model):
Now let's proceed to graphics cards: GV-RA16T256V, a graphics card based on Radeon X1600XT and utilizing Silent Pipe 2. Has 256MB of GDDR3, 12 pixel pipelines, VIVO. GV-RX131280D-RH is a budget graphics card: Features:
And this is a GeForce 6600 based card for the BTX form-factor: Features:
And now let's take a look at products somewhat extrinsical for the company. We're talking about PSUs, mobile phones and PDA as well as Mini-ITX systems, Viiv platform, and even antennas. These photos let us see a new PSU managed over USB - ODIN 480W. So don't be surprised if your PC asks for a PSU driver...
On the photo above is another, more powerful PSU, that looks similar to the previous however - ODIN 560W. Though this one is only a dummy, the company is going to start producing them in the near future. This model will be supplied with a USB cable to connect to a motherboard (made by Gigabyte, we believe) to manage the PSU. Now about phones and PDAs. Gigabyte g-Smart and g-Smart i series: Dubious solutions, in our opinion. Especially considering the success of ASUS. Not far away there's a Mini-ITX GB-T1B on VIA C7 CPU. Series specifications:
And this is Viiv series: A963 series has the following features: Besides À963, the company offers another Viiv model - Í971: And Í663: Now to wireless devices. The following exhibit is rather unusual. It's a 2.4GHz antenna for increasing operating radius - GN-AT2180Y. The vendor claims it provides wireless connectivity within 100-kilometer radius, if there are no obstacles. And GN-AT2180P is a more compact modification. Source: iXBT
