Fujitsu Enhances Consumer Portfolio With New Media Center Notebooks
Fujitsu Computer Systems expanded its consumer portfolio, announcing four new LifeBook desktop replacement notebooks featuring Microsoft Windows Media Center Edition 2005.
LifeBook N6220 notebook features an integrated sub-woofer and stereo speakers along with an Intel Pentium M processor and a 17-inch wide Crystal View display. An optional built-in TV tuner and Media Center remote control are also offered. A dual hard drive option comes in handy for storing pictures, TV programs and family movies. The LifeBook N6220 notebook also has ATI Mobility Radeon X600 graphics card with 256 MB of HyperMemory and Intel PRO/Wireless 2915ABG network connection. The LifeBook N6220 notebook is priced starting at $1,649 including a $100 rebate for a base configuration.

The LifeBook N6110 notebook, priced starting at $1,299 including a $100 rebate for a base configuration offers an array of multimedia features and a large 17-inch wide Crystal View display. Featuring a Dual-Layer Multi-Format DVD Writer for reading and writing multiple CD and DVD formats, the LifeBook N6110 notebook can write up to 8.5 GB. Optional external TV tuner and remote control are available for use with the Media Center Edition 2005 operating system. The LifeBook N6110 notebook also offers the Intel PRO/Wireless 2915ABG network connection.

The LifeBook N3520 notebook has a 15.4-inch Fujitsu Color Enhanced Crystal View display, an optional built-in TV tuner and remote control with Media Center Edition. It also features an Intel Pentium M Processor and ATI Mobility Radeon X300 graphics with 128 MB HyperMemory technology. Priced starting at $1,449 for a base configuration, the LifeBook N3520 notebook also features the Intel PRO/Wireless 2915ABG network connection.

LifeBook N3410 notebook, which replaces the LifeBook C2340 model, is equipped with a 15.4-inch Fujitsu Crystal View display. Priced starting at $1,199 including a $50 rebate for a base configuration, it features a powerful Intel Pentium M Processor and Intel GMA 900 graphics with shared memory and a Dual-Layer Multi-Format DVD Writer. External TV tuner and remote control options are available for use with Media Center Edition 2005. Connecting to the Internet is provided by integrated Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection (802.11b/g).

In addition to Media Center Edition 2005, the four LifeBook N Series notebooks are available with Microsoft Windows XP Home or Professional Edition. All models also offer a dedicated Express Card slot and dedicated slots for MemoryStick and SD cards.
The LifeBook N Series notebooks are available through the Fujitsu direct sales force, website, channel partners and select retail outlets. Users can choose from a recommended configuration or they can customize their system using the Fujitsu Configure To Order (CTO) program.
