VIA Luke: An x86-Compatible PC On An 8x8cm Board
VIA released a miniature single-board x86-compatible PC named VIA Luke. All its components are located on an 8x8cm motherboard. Based on the C3 core, the system features integrated South and North Bridges, UniChrome-based graphics, sound system, Ethernet 10/100 PHY.
Naturally, the novelty is offered for making various consumer and industrial electronics, from entertainment centres and security conrtollers to compact rackmount servers.
The new system is possibly made according to the "Digital Brilliance" concept, which was recently introduced by Richard Brown, the Associate VP for International Marketing. At least, it corresponds to the concept criteria.
