ASUS CB-5216A1T: A New SATA DVD/CD-RW Combo
ASUS introduced an optical combo drive CB-5216A1T with Serial ATA interface. The novelty reads/writes CDs at 52x, rewrites CDs at 32x and reads DVDs at 16x. CB-5216A1T supports ASUS FlextraLink, FlextraSpeed, DDSS II, AI Auto Speed Adjustment technologies. The list of supported formats includes CD-DA, CD-ROM, CD-ROM XA, Photo CD, Mixed Mode CD-ROM, CD-I, CD-Extra, CD Text, Video CD, DVCD, and Bootable CD. The drive can be installed either horizontally, or vertically.
