Continuing its Cyber-shot DSC-T series of thin compact cameras, Sony introduced the new DSC-T5 that technically resembles the previous DSC-T7 and DSC-T33.
Cyber-shot DSC-T5 features 3x Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens, 5.1-megapixel CCD, 2.5" LCD display/viewfinder and 32MB of built-in memory supported by a Memory Stick Duo slot.
Users are offered 10 presets, 1cm macro mode and fast-moving object shooting mode. Besides, the camera can record MPEG-VX movies at 640x480 @ 30fps and can work longer than the previous models (240 frames, according to CIPA tests).
Cyber-shot DSC-T5 is to go on sale in September for $350 (North American pricing).
