AM320: an industrial motherboard on Alviso
The trend of using notebook solutions in small form-factor desktop machines is growing. This time PFU, a subsidiary of Fujitsu that specialies in embedded and industrial systems, unveiled the AM320 micro-ATX motherboard on Intel 915GM Express (Alviso).
The novelty supports Pentium M CPUs, features ICH6M Southbridge, 1 x PCI Express x16 and 1 x PCI Express x1 slot, 2 x PCI, 2 x Serial ATA interfaces and supports up to 2GB of DDR2-533/400 memory.
Also onboard are Gigabit Ethernet (Intel 82541PI), 8 x USB 2.0, 2 x PS/2, 2 x RS-232 and 1 x Serial port.
