40th Anniversary Of Moore´s Law
In 1965, while working on an article for the Electronics magazine, Gordon Moore, the future founder of Intel Corp., formulated the idea of microprocessing industry development. According to it, transistor cost price reduces each year, while transistor amount per crystal doubles. In 1975 he changed the wording, so these changed take two years instead of one.
April 19 is the 40th anniversary of the Moore´s Law, a prediction, emripic rule, theoretical extrapolation or whatever else that still reflects the development of computer industry.
