CeBit 2005: thin clients from TUL
The attention to various thin clients is like ocean waves: one day it´s strong, another it´s very weak. Nevertheless, TUL decided to enter this market segment with a whole line of solutions:
The idea of these products is simple. A thin client doesn´t have a hard drive (one model is even stripped of an optical drive). The OS and applications are loaded from a LAN server, which also keeps user data.
Such solutions might come in handy in large enterprises with lots of PC users that need good information security. TUL offers its new products for about $200 depending on configuration.
