Photo of the day: GA-8AENXP-D motherboard in our lab
We are currently testing Gigabyte´s GA-8AENXP-D motherboard based on i925XE/ICH6R chipset. The novelty supports Intel Pentium 4 LGA775 processors (1066/800/533 MHz FSB), has 6 sockets for up to 4 GB of unbuffered DDR2-711/600/533/400 SDRAM DIMM (1.8V), 1 x PCI Express x16, 3 x PCI Express x1, 2 x PCI slots.
The single IDE header enables to connect only 2 IDE devices, but compensates this by 8 x SATA ports (4 ports of ICH6R, another 4 of Sil3114 external controller). Other interfaces include: 1 x FDD, 1 x LPT, 1 x COM (A), 11 x USB (4 on back panel, other on headers), 3 x IEEE1394b, PS/2 keyboard and mouse, Marvell 8001 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN, Broadcom 5751 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN, 8ch ALC880 audio.
