GIGABYTE unveils X800-based GV-RX80256D graphics card with TurboForce
GIGABYTE officially unveiled the new GV-RX80256D graphics card based on X800 GPU. Naturally, as it belongs to GV-RX80 series, it support all necessary technologies, including SMARTSHADER HD, SMOOTHVISION HD and 3Dc. According to some tests, this DirectX9.0c card scores 10,198 points in 3DMark.
The technical features are a matter of deduction based on GPU features: 0.11µm VPU, PCI-Express x16, 12 pixel and 6 vertex pipelines, up to 392 MHz core clock, 700 MHz memory clock, 256 MB of GDDR-3 (mentioned in the model name), 256-bit bus. The exclusive TurboForce technology implies various performance adjustments enables to boost performance by up to 11%. The card has a passive SilentPipe cooler that covers both GPU and memory.
Interfaces are standard: D-Sub, TV-Out, DVI.
