D.Vine PC cases for your Home Theater complex

Japanese retail is soon to offer the elegant D.Vine PC case series promoted by AHANIX as a part of the Home Theater PC (HTPC) initiative.

The horizontal PC case orientation is not usually popular in the mainstream, but in this case, so to say, the design is to imitate a Hi-Fi component.

Cases are made of aluminium and steel. At that the front panel is 8 mm thick. The standard configuration includes 2 x 60 mm fans (16 dB) and 300-350 W PSU. The case colors include silvery and black.

Another stylish piece of design is the LED display. The VFD module not only outputs various system information (CPU load, memory used, etc.), but also shows multimedia track playing, email notifications and receives signals from the remote control. The drivers work with Winamp and Motherboard Monitor 5 for Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/XP Media Center Edition.

The company also offers similar VFD modules for 5.25" bays (already seen in Japan for ¥13,000 or $125).
