LaCie unveils Ethernet Disk network storage system
LaCie, known by its external storage devices, unveiled a new networked storage system for small and medium companies — Ethernet Disk.
LaCie Ethernet Disk offers up to 800 GB capacity and supports up to 25 simultaneous connections. Controlled through Windows XP Embedded, it supports all its data protection technologies. LaCie Ethernet Disk can be mounted into standard 19" server racks. Several Ethernet Disk devices can also be connected via USB or FireWire.
The MSRP is about $2,060.
