ATI FireGL V3100: now available for IBM Intellistation M30 workstations
ATI Technologies informed on the intention to strengthen its positions in the workstation graphics market. According to its latest press release, IBM Intellistation M30 workstations with PCI Express interface will be offered with a FireGL V3100 graphics as an option.
As you know, FireGL V3100 supports up to 128 MB memory, has 4 pixel pipelines, 2 vertex processors. Being certified for 3ds max, AutoCAD, CATIA, Ìàya, SOFTIMAGE|XSI and SolidWorks, it supports dual-monitor configurations (VGA and DVI).
The FireGL solutions also support Smartshader, Hyper Z, Smoothvision as well as OpenGL 1.5 with extensions, OpenGL Shading Language, Microsoft DirectX 9.0, etc.
