DVR-ABN16A: new DVD±RW drive from I-O Data
More and more DVD±RW announcements come to light. This time Japanese I-O Data released the new DVR-ABN16A drive in external (DVR-ABN16A USB 2.0) and internal (DVR-ABN16ABK) modifications. Actually the novelty is nothing else, but ND-3520A announced yesterday, just in this case NEC makes these recorders for I-O Data. DVR-ABN16A is expected to cost ¥19,845 ($190), while DVR-ABN16ABK is to cost ¥16,485 ($160).
DVR-ABN16A write speeds:
- DVD±R: 16x
- DVD+RW: 8x
- DVD-RW: 6x
- DVD+R DL: 4x
- CD-R: 48x
- CD-RW: 24x
The drive is bundled with DVD MovieWriter 3.5SE and Ulead DVD Player software (with CPRM support). The external model is sized 162x268x50 mm at 1.6 kg weight.
