ACARD unveils 16x DVD duplicator controller
ACARD Technology unveiled its new PCI controller for DVD duplicators, ARS-2033P.
- Dedicated IDE–IDE duplicator controller
- Independent IDE channel for higher throughput
- Support for 3.5" HDD for data storage and prompt backup
- Firmware upgrades
- Support for 16x DVD recorders
The controller enables to create systems that can record up to 7 CD/DVD discs from a single source. According to the press release, the controller supports recording onto DVD devices from NEC, Pioneer, SONY, Lite-On, BenQ, etc.
