AOpen announces DUW1608 DVD+R9 drive

AOpen joined dual-layer DVD drive vendors with its new DUW1608 that is expected to go on sale this month with MSRP of ¥13,000 ($120) in Japan.

The drive supports 16x DVD+R write, 8x DVD-R write, 4x DVD±RW write, 2.4x DVD+R9 write, 48x CD-R and 32x CD-RW write.

The bundle includes Nero Burning ROM and Nero Express, NeroVision Express 2, Nero BackItUp, InCD 4 and CyberLink Power DVD.
