Lindenhurst/Lindenhurst-VS based server boards round-up
Having focused on high-tech gadgets and desktop peripherals, we somewhat passed by server motherboards, in particular, those based on Lindenhurst/Lindenhurst-VS chipsets. So let´s catch up then.
Both chipsets are designed for dual-way Xeon-based systems and have the following features in brief: 800MHz FSB, DDR266/333 or DDR2-400 in up to 8 sickets (up to 32GB); depending on model may feature PCI-Express 8x/4x, PCI-X and 64/32bit PCI. Lindenhurst-VS differs from Lindenhurst by being positioned for value systems without ICH5R support.
