VIA Envy24MT: 24-bit/192kHz notebook audio
VIA announced its new VIA Vinyl Envy24MT audio controller designed for notebooks and mini PCs. In particular, Vinyl Envy24MT might come in handy for those notebook owners that are not satisfied with built-in AC´97 (2.2: 20-bit DAC, 96kHz).
Vinyl Envy24MT continues VIA Envy24 series (on the photo). It´s optimized for small-size systems and has lower power consumption. Envy24MT supports 24-bit/192kHz audio, analog and digital inputs/ outputs, 2 x MIDI ports, ASIO.
VIA offers several variants of Vinyl Envy24MT usage, including motherboard integration, Mini-PCI or PCMCIA cards.
