BFG Tech to launch official sales of overclocked GeForce 6 series cards

Alexander Vorobiev, the editor of our 3D graphics section, informed us about a new initiative of BFG Technologies. This company is going to introduce three new graphics cards on NVIDIA GeForce 6 series GPUs:

• BFG GeForce 6800 Ultra OC
• BFG GeForce 6800 GT OC
• BFG GeForce 6800 OC

Naturally, "OC" stands for nothing else, but overclocking. To some extent it´s a paradox, as some companies only start selling "standard" versions, while BFG already announces overclocked solutions.

• BFG GeForce 6800 Ultra OC – 425MHz vs. standard 400MHz. Shipped with up to 530W PSUs and water cooling systems. To go on sale in June 2004 with MSRP of $500
• BFG GeForce 6800 GT OC – 370MHz vs. standard 350MHz. To go on sale in July 2004 with MSRP of $400
• BFG GeForce 6800 OC – 350MHz vs. standard 325MHz. To go on sale in July 2004 with MSRP of $300
